The Commis Chef will assist in the preparation and service of menu items, with a strong focus on seafood and contemporary cuisine. This role is ideal for a recent culinary graduate or junior chef looking to grow within a professional kitchen environment.

• Assist with food preparation, mise en place, and service for lunch and dinner operations
• Prepare and cook menu items under the supervision of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef
• Ensure seafood and other ingredients are handled, stored, and prepared according to food safety standards
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in your workstation
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications
• Assist with stock rotation, stock control, and minimising waste
• Support the team during busy service periods
• Continuously develop culinary skills and product knowledge

• Culinary qualification (Adv. Professional Chef or equivalent preferred)
• 0–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen (seafood experience advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen fundamentals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
