Job summary
A leading technology firm in South Africa seeks a Supplier Growth Manager to onboard and grow supplier relationships within the Kazang - Merchant Division. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in Sales or Account Management, experience in the FMCG sector, and strong networking skills in the informal economy. This role also involves managing a team and contributing to creating a cashless payments ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in FMCG or Payments.
- Experience in the per-urban/rural ‘Informal’ economy is advantageous.
- Ability to grow networks rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new Suppliers onto Kazang platform.
- Manage existing supplier relationships.
- Co-operate with Kazang sales structures to maximize volumes.
- Build Kazang cashless payments ecosystem.
- Manage a team of Supplier and Vault Reps.
