• Eliminates equipment failures through preventative maintenance.
• Gains comprehensive knowledge of plant and equipment for real-time information.
• Optimizes equipment and systems to improve quality, availability, and reliability.
• Responsible for all BIW-specific equipment.
• Performs fault finding on integrated systems.
• Develops advanced skills in assigned technology groups.
• Follows maintenance rules of conduct.
• Plans optimal use of spares and equipment during breakdowns and maintenance.

• Assists in achieving ISO 14000 environmental targets and complies with BMW standards and procedures.
• Ensures all work is performed competently, safely, and in accordance with BMW, OHS Act, and ISO 14000 standards.
• Maintains equipment safety and work area safety at all times.

• Implements and tests new standards beneficial to the plant.
• Tests and documents changes accurately.
• Identifies areas for improvement and leads projects.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external interfaces, negotiating as needed.

N4 Electrical or Mechanical qualification.

1-2 years of related experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in an automated production environment, including leadership experience.

• Problem-solving skills.
• High-level technical and analytical skills.
• Specialized knowledge and experience with automated systems.
