Job Description
The Director of Marketing & Communication for Mantis Collection leads the development and execution of the brand’s global marketing and communications strategy, focusing on strengthening brand equity and visibility. This strategic role ensures a consistent, compelling, and innovative brand presence across all platforms—driving awareness, guest engagement, and market positioning in line with Mantis’ conservation-led, luxury hospitality vision.
Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Define and maintain Mantis’ brand positioning, voice, and storytelling, ensuring consistency and supporting innovation around sustainability, conservation, and luxury.
- Set clear, measurable objectives for brand, digital, and marketing efforts, reporting progress regularly and coordinating with hotel marketing teams to maximize impact.
Digital Marketing & Web Management
- Lead digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, email marketing, display ads, and social media, optimizing based on data insights and testing.
- Manage and update the Mantis website (WordPress), ensuring content is current, technically sound, and aligned with strategic messaging.
- Enhance web presence by ensuring an innovative, user-focused digital experience, supported by performance tracking, content updates, and collaboration with developers.
Content Creation, Social Media & Engagement
- Create and oversee engaging digital and print content—websites, blogs, social media, newsletters—that reflect Mantis’ values and experiences.
- Manage content calendars and ensure messaging consistency across channels.
- Grow and engage the Mantis community on social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube), fostering interaction and brand loyalty.
Brand Management & Creative Oversight
- Serve as brand custodian, ensuring adherence to the Corporate Identity and consistency across all marketing materials.
- Oversee development of brand collateral and toolkits for corporate and hotel use.
- Manage external creative resources—agencies, photographers, designers—to maintain brand standards and quality.
Public Relations, Communications & Media Relations
- Develop press materials, media kits, and thought leadership content to position Mantis as a leader in conservation and luxury travel.
- Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters, blogs, and messaging.
- Build relationships with global media, influencers, and journalists to enhance brand exposure.
- Represent Mantis at industry events, media opportunities, and roundtables.
- Oversee crisis communications to protect brand integrity.
- Monitor and report on PR and branding impact to inform future strategies.
Campaigns, Partnerships & Event Marketing
- Plan and manage virtual and in-person marketing events—trade shows, webinars, conferences.
- Support campaigns like Mantis Impact, Mantis Travel Desk, and Accor Loyalty with tailored marketing.
- Collaborate with Accor, regional teams, and hotel operations to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Identify partnership opportunities with luxury travel influencers, ambassadors, and media.
Budget Management & Operational Support
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Support hotel marketing budget guidelines and strategies.
- Work with operations to uphold brand standards at hotels, including audits and touchpoints.
Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Track, analyze, and report campaign performance, engagement, and sentiment metrics.
- Use insights to refine strategies and improve marketing effectiveness continuously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or public relations
- Passion for creating positive community impacts and championing sustainability, conservation, and local engagement
- Exceptional management and interpersonal skills
- Proven marketing success with strong analytical skills for reporting
