Job summary

A leading staffing firm in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Divisional Managing Director and the Executive team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a relevant tertiary qualification along with at least 5 years of experience in executive administration, preferably within the construction sector. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, expanding client databases, and managing crucial projects.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years executive administration experience.
  • Marketing experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Divisional Managing Director and the Executive team.
  • Co-ordinate and arrange meetings and events for the Executive team.
  • Assist the Commercial department in formulating and executing a marketing strategy.
  • Expand the company’s client database.
  • Track the company’s B-BBEE status and assist in the annual audit.
  • Identify and manage the company’s SED projects.
  • Oversee the company’s Supplier Development program.
  • Ensure valid industry memberships and registrations.
