Responsibilities:
The role is leading an Operations team handling all operational aspects of the branch, including Treasury, Trade & Loans, and Private Banking operations. The role is balanced between people management and project management.
Overseeing the Operations team BAU to ensure adherence to standards and procedures of the Bank.
Identifying operational and process gaps and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
Driving transformational projects where required, focusing on fine-tuning and refining gaps and improving current processes.
Developing and implementing growth strategies, presenting new ideas, and establishing priorities for the Bank’s operations.
Working closely with team leaders to understand development and training requirements of the Operations team.
Providing mentoring to Ops team members and motivating staff to meet organizational goals.
Resolving all operational issues that may arise from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum 12 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry Operations space with strong domain knowledge covering Treasury, Trades & Loans, and Private Banking (at least 2 areas).
Relevant experience in operational management and operating as an effective leader overseeing multiple teams.
Proven track record of change management and improving effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
