About Us:

BC Lor Mee (since 1962) is a well established brand that serves delicious local food at local establishments across Singapore. As we expand our operations, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to be part of this expansion and to help us continue maintaining the high quality food standards we are known for.

Job Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will play an important role in managing and executing operations at our stalls and kitchens. You will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, manage kitchen staff, maintain cleanliness, and oversee food safety practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure kitchen and food stalls are set up to optimise efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient performance and high-quality food production.
  • Monitor food stock levels and order supplies when needed to avoid shortages.
  • Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and food presentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a relevant position, with at least 1 years in a similar role as an Operations Manager.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Able to accept a flexible working schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
