Procurement Strategy Lead: Tenders & Governance
Job summary
A leading development corporation in Singapore is seeking a Senior Assistant Director to oversee procurement governance and manage major consultancy and construction tenders. The successful candidate will lead procurement activities, ensure compliance with policies, and enhance performance through strategic guidance. Candidates should have a recognized degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or related fields, along with extensive experience in public sector procurement. This is a 3-year contract role with opportunities for renewal.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing major construction and consultancy tenders, preferably in public sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government procurement processes and conditions of contract.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively across various divisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major consultancy and construction tenders.
- Oversee procurement activities for timely execution and adherence to standards.
- Provide expert advisory on procurement rules and policies.
