The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with the client who is a global leader in delivering high tech engineering and construction projects, specialising in semiconductor, pharmaceutical and data centre facilities. The company provides full lifecycle project solutions from design to construction and commissioning.

We are hiring Senior Specialist - Planning & Scheduling (1-year contract) supporting project planning and scheduling for industrial facility projects. Responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, site teams and consultants, maintaining detailed work programmes and preparing schedules, reports and tender inputs.

  • Work location: West
  • Work hours: 8am to 6pm
  • Salary: up to $8,000 + Completion Bonus
The Job
  • Lead planning and scheduling activities for complex Life Science and Pharmaceutical facility projects, ensuring seamless coordination from design to construction and commissioning.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction and validation teams to maintain accurate project schedules, identify critical paths and manage long lead items.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and vendors to track progress, resolve interface issues and ensure timely delivery of construction and process system milestones.
  • Prepare planning inputs for tenders, monthly progress reports and client presentations, supporting both internal stakeholders and project leadership.
  • Manage document and drawing progress, ensuring alignment with regulatory, GMP, safety and compliance requirements typical in pharmaceutical facility projects.
The Talent
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Building Construction with solid experience in planning or project engineering.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in industrial, Life Science or Pharmaceutical construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Project or Primavera with proven ability to develop, manage and optimise detailed work schedules.
  • Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams and external partners.
