Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

We are building a Cloud Platform operations teams for Solution and designing of high performance banking platform and applications running on containers. Manage, operate and enhance the platform to support evolving workload in a multi-cloud hybrid environment. We need an exceptional, passionate, customer facing, hands-on individual that will help T&O-C2E transform to realize the benefits of cloud native applications and architectures on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. You will also work closely with the DBS Teams, Pivotal Cloud Foundry vendor and DBS IT partners.

Responsibilities:

• End to end responsible for the operation and running of the Tanzu platform and application solution. Ensure the application is scalable, stable and extensible
• Responsible to perform research, development and POC on new technologies and development approaches for Tanzu. Take part in evaluation of software package
• Responsible for mentoring and training of application team. Maintenance of the solution, framework, document pertaining to Tanzu
• Provide operational assistance and guidance for Tanzu including; monitoring, management, disaster recovery, security compliance/auditing, networking, storage, service brokers and build packs
• Work with customer Service Desk, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes for all Cloud Services
• Establish and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for deployment of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu) and related products infrastructure
• Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to deliver customer apps to production, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement
• Continuously learn and be at the leading edge of Pivotal and industry trends
• Become an agent of change within organizations

Requirements:

• Experience as a full Stack Java Development using Spring Framework and/or Python
• 2+ years experience in release management or production operations
• 2+ years experience working on or leading teams performing systems automation and integration (ideally leveraging an agile methodology / lean techniques)
• 2+ years experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, TeamCity, and other Continuous Integration tools Competence in using scripting + programming languages to automate frequently executed activities
• 2+ years IaaS experience (vSphere / ESXi / AWS / OpenStack / Azure / GCP) Dell/EMC VMware Products Expert knowledge of Linux / Unix / Windows systems
• Expert knowledge of networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing / DNS / SSL / firewalls / NAT)
• Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
• A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models
• ITIL Foundation certification will be advantage
• Kubernetes and Openshift will be advantage

Technical Competencies:

• Experience with a platform as a service product such as Kubernetes Platforms, Cloud Foundry, RedHat OpenShift, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
• 2+ years experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration tools
• Some experience working with NTP, SAML, oAuth 2, Active Directory
• Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, vROPS, Datadog, etc.)
• A software development or DevOps automation background is a big plus
