WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Events Marketing Manager, ASEAN is an analytical and creative independent leader who is capable of developing and executing large scale marketing events to support our client's ASEAN business to achieve their goals through the education of customers and partners, and the creation of pipeline.

This individual independently leads workstreams within our client’s large-scale flagship event project alongside a project team including; but not limited to - Sponsorship team,Startup Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Partner Marketing, Developer Relations, Global Marketing and agencies.

YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing for a B2B technology company or agency with a proven track record in delivering world class events.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement (internal and external) and communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Experienced in navigating large corporations with complex business structures and processes.
  • Preferred qualifications: Proficiency in digital, social, and email marketing an advantage.
  • Degree qualifications preferred.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs.
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES

In partnership with Head of Events, ASEAN, execute the regional flagship, summit for the ASEAN event portfolio. This will include defining the event theme and programs components in line with business objectives, and working with stakeholders and agencies to oversee the delivery of world class event experiences from registration through to post-event follow-up.

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of events with operational and logistical excellence; build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities.
  • Work with multi-layer stakeholders and external agencies to manage event content, production, and overall event experience.
  • Identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes.
  • Proactively handle any challenges that might arise and quickly troubleshoot any problems on event day.
  • Collaborate with a calm attitude and stay calm under pressure.
  • Use strong judgment and decision-making skills to assess and recommend the best course of action even in ambiguous situations.
  • Take initiative as a self-starter who can produce specific results from general direction.
  • Apply project management experience.
  • Build event application across 3 summits working closely with Global Event App POC on app build, leveraging templates provided and past year (2025) templates for reference.
  • Support on-site role: registration help desk – onsite checks in external registration system for any attendees facing issues with registration onsite.
