Job Description:

• Updating inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records for management and stakeholders.
• Keeping detailed and current records of all purchases, including prices, quantities, and delivery dates, for easy reference and reporting.
• Conducting market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies; staying updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and industry regulations to inform purchasing decisions.
• Monitoring stock levels, anticipating future needs, and coordinating with the warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels; addressing potential shortages or excesses.
• Assisting in developing and monitoring departmental budgets, ensuring purchasing aligns with financial guidelines, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Preparing regular reports on purchasing activities, expenditures, savings, and supplier performance for management review.

Skills:

• Ability to process and maintain detailed records accurately.
• Managing multiple tasks with effective prioritization.
• Clear and professional communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in negotiating favorable terms and prices.
