The successful candidate will design and implement an enterprise data management framework, drive governance practices, and evaluate modern data protection technologies. This role requires at least 7 years of experience in data management, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a solid understanding of data technologies. A*STAR ITSS (IT Shared Services) is seeking a technically strong and forward-looking data management professional to design, operationalise and implement A*STAR's enterprise data management framework and technologies. This role drives consistent, secure and high-quality data practices across corporate and research domains and leads the adoption of modern data protection and governance technologies, including AI-enabled and automated approaches, to uplift IT governance and organizational operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage corporate groups, RIs and data domain owners to drive consistent adoption of governance practices and gather feedback on data management framework and technologies.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen A*STAR's overall digital assurance and IT governance posture.
Contribute to data modelling, metadata standards, lineage tracking and architectural alignment across projects and platforms.
