In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst for our Data & Analytics team within Digital Excellance Center (DEC) department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented team-player to be part of a technology team that is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Market Risk, Trade Finance, Operations, Advanced analytics tools evaluations).
Main responsibilities
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work with AI Factory development team – who is building ML, NLP based algorithms to derive information from unstructured text, digital documents, scanned documents, web-sites, etc.
You contribute to the development of transversal projects, improvement of capabilities of the team and promote AI based application development. The scope of responsibilities includes:
§ Work closely with data scientist / data engineers on data retrival, collection, cleasing and annotation
§ Utlize coding languages (Pythin, SQL, etc.) to build statistical patterns and analysis on given data and communicate them effectively
§ Develop new or maintaining existing data processing pipelines
§ Help team to make data-driven decisions and present data in understandable ways
§ Working closely with internal stakeholders / cross functional teams
§ Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications and Profile
A Bachelor’s or Post graduate degree from a recognized university.
Proficient of software development experience in programming languages such as Python / Java / Node.
Strong background in mathematics and statistics
Experience with data science / machine learning development tools such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, NLTK, spaCy, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc.
Experience with NLP technologies, handling of unstructured text data, image processing (OCR) and web-scraping – is a value addition.
Experience in databases such as MySQL, MongoDB or Redis graph.
Intellectual curiosity and interest in finding new ways to do things, combined with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptable to changing business needs, strong sense of ownership and drive for customer focus and ability to collaborate effectively with IT managers, senior stakeholders to gather requirements and manage scope.
