Job summary
A company in the metal industry based in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to manage comprehensive accounting and finance functions. The role involves quarterly and monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing for audits. Candidates should have strong capabilities in managing accounts, cash flow, and corporate taxes. This position is ideal for those looking to play a pivotal role in financial management within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of finance & accounting and costing function.
- Prepare full set accounts for annual statutory audit and corporate tax filing.
- Ensure timely monthly closing, including preparation of journal entries and accounting schedules.
- Manage full spectrum of finance & accounting and costing function.
- Include full sets accounts covering general ledger, AR, AP, bank, petty cash, GST, journals, fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly management reporting.
- Prepare full set accounts for annual statutory audit and corporate tax filing.
- Prepare schedules for tax agents and auditors; liaise and respond to tax and audit queries.
- Ensure timely monthly closing, including preparation of journal entries and accounting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards.
- Handle and be in charge of petty cash issuing, receiving and recording.
- Estimate and monitor cash flow and fund transfer.
- Accounts receivable and credit control.
- Prepare ad‑hoc payment.
- Prepare month‑end payment for suppliers and workers.
- Match PO, DO and invoice.
- Issue tax invoice and post invoice.
- Prepare and submit GST filing.
- Prepare and monitor project costing.
- Other duties as assigned.
