Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Build and expand relationships with corporate clients in Singapore - (i) originate dialogue at HQ, RHQ and local levels and (ii) support existing & prospect clients across JPM's spectrum of corporate banking capabilities
  • Partner with local and headquarter corporate bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution; Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to steer product development ideas
  • Create forward looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationship
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPM's array of corporate banking products (e.g., cash management, trade, escrow, derivatives, capital markets, credit, risk management, asset management, etc.)
  • Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions
  • Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities.
  • Ensure strong Risk & Control framework is maintained with an ongoing focus on adherence to KYC, AML, Reputation Risk, and other standards.
  • Participate in strategy formulation and tracking across sector initiative
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant fields
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking or related client facing functions/roles with a strong command of transaction services, markets, regulatory environment, credit, trade finance etc.
  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships with well-developed business development skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player. Strong presentation & communication skills; ability to partner with Corporate Bankers and Product Specialists within the firm
  • Track record managing complex multi-product and multi-country opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Payments including cash management, liquidity, digital channels would be a key requirement
  • Good understanding of Innovation Economy client profiles, handling of third-party monies practices and due diligence requirements
  • Keen aptitude to learn with strong analytical ability to think and solution creatively
  • Excellence in oral and written communication with proven strength for personal engagement.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage multiple transactions whilst ensuring delivery against deadlines, client expectations and business priorities.
  • Enthusiastic and team-oriented team player possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a drive to meet business targets
