JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Consolidation & Reporting
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidation entries and supporting documentation, covering actual results, budgets and forecasts
- Perform consolidation using SAP BPC and OneStream, including but not limited to elimination journals and group adjustments
- Assist in preparation of financial and management reporting, including analytical review of the financial performance
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other information required for Group reporting
- Liaise with auditors on group level audit issues
- Liaise with Accounting & Finance Services team for entity level submission, analysis of financials and any other reporting
- Assist business units and operations with finance related matters
2. Finance Business Partner
- Perform financial planning and analysis work, including providing detailed variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, to support decision-making across the organization
- Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecast and annual budget for area of accountability. Review and challenge operational plans by reviewing underlying drivers and assumptions made when preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budget
- Support the business teams in the evaluation of the potential investment / divestment and business operation considerations during acquisition / divestment process. Liaise with other finance functions to ensure that accounting and tax impacts are appropriately considered
- Liaise with JV partners on matters arising, such as dividend distributions, shareholder loans, other financial and operational matters, if required
- Support the Platform Finance Business Partner Lead in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorization Limits
- Review existing procedures and systems and identify opportunities in process improvement, system enhancement, automation and digitalization
Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
In the event there are substantial changes to the main duties and responsibilities as set out herein (for example, in cases of secondment, transfer or promotion), the Company will communicate such changes to you in writing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting or Business/Finance or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in relevant field
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes, accounting knowledge and application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
- Displays positive attitude, team player, meticulous and the ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
- Able to work independently and possess good communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of SAP S4, BPC and OneStream would be advantageous
- Must be able and willing to accept intra-department or inter-division transfers/job rotations, and henceforth changes in work scope and responsibilities
