Job summary
A laboratory equipment distributor based in Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician to assist in daily operations. The role involves compiling analytical results and responding to client inquiries. Candidates should have a Nitec in a relevant field, but training will be provided for those without experience. This permanent position offers a working schedule from Monday to Friday, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety regulations and maintaining laboratory cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Knowledge with scanning electron microscopes is an added advantage.
- Capable of compiling and summarizing data into clear and accurate test reports.
- Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist laboratory and sales teams in daily operations.
- Compile and interpret analytical results into formal test documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to laboratory services.
- Handle new lab functions based on clients' requirements.
- Perform technical, engineering, and application-related support.
- Understand and adhere to ISO standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
