Job Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis: Proven experience in data analysis and delivery of a portfolio of data products (e.g, dashboards, reports, predictive models, data models).
   Analyze and interpret complex domain-specific data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
   Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, build, and implement data products
   Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
   Prepare cleanse and validate data to ensure consistency, accuracy and reliability for analysis and reporting
   Document system data flows, data model transformation and architecture, establish technical data dictionaries and access controls
   
2. Business Analysis: Collaborate with business units to comprehend their data needs and deliver solutions that address those requirements.
   Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements
   Support project management tasks by providing data-related expertise and guidance.
   
3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technology and business departments to ensure seamless data flow and access.
   Provide training and support to team members on best practices and tools
   Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
• Min 8 years of experience in data analysis with a focus within finance domain.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data modelling techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with product management methodologies and agile development practices is a plus.
• Experience in Collibra is a plus
• Understanding of data stewardship principles and data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, Capital / Profitability Management would be a plus.
• Certifications such as CDMP is a plus.
