As an Audit Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for clients across various industries. Your role includes performing financial audits in accordance with relevant auditing standards, preparing working papers, conducting tests of controls and substantive procedures, and identifying potential accounting or internal control issues. You will assist in drafting audit reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements such as SFRS/IFRS, and liaising with clients to gather information, clarify findings, and resolve issues. The position also involves collaborating with senior team members, maintaining proper documentation, and meeting engagement deadlines.
An ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks such as SFRS/IFRS. Professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, CA are advantageous. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel. Effective communication, good time management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential, along with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
