Job summary
A property development company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified construction site supervisor with a Diploma in Civil Engineering. The role involves monitoring construction activities, ensuring project deadlines are met, and liaising with contractors and consultants. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry and strong problem-solving skills. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment on significant projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the construction field.
- Experience in Property Development / Construction / Real Estate industry is essential.
- Must be able to understand building structure, electrical and architectural plans.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily construction activities on site.
- Ensure smooth running of the project and meet deadlines.
- Supervise contractor's workmanship and safety issues.
Skills
Education
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities on site
- Ensure smooth running of the project and meet the deadlines
- Must be able to understand RC, civil infrastructure, building structure, electrical and architect plans.
- Solve site issues, report immediately to Project Manager / Directors for decision
- Supervise contractor's workmanship and safety issue
- Liase with consultants, contractors, authority, surveyor and relevant parties and also conduct site meetings with contractors
- Prepare daily / weekly reports
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Years of experience in Property Development / Construction / Real Estate industry.
- Candidate must have good knowledge in construction related issues, problem solving skill, teamwork, initiative, good working attitude and a responsible person
- Ability to foresee, prevent and minimize the risks at site and works
