A construction company in Johor is seeking a qualified candidate for project coordination roles. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with construction specifications, managing materials, and site work coordination. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and have at least 2 years of experience. Being bilingual in Malay and English is essential for effective communication. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to successful project execution and coordination in the construction sector.
Ensure project work running according to construction drawing and specification.
To coordinate site work with Sub-Contractor and ensure project run smoothly.
Raise up material ordering, receiving material and follow up with supplier on schedule delivery.
To ensure all material received as per DO and PO description.
Proper planning on material allocation when material delivers to site in order to reduce wastage and double handling.
Check & follow up the defects work at site.
Work closely with customer care department regarding the defects work.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey, Architecture or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Able to speak in Malay/English, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Able to co-ordinate site works with minimal supervision.
Computer literate and knowledge in Microsoft Office. (Wordand Excel)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Availability to perform construction site visits outside of business hours, when relevant.
