Job summary
A leading pharmaceutical packaging company in Shah Alam is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage unloading, inspection, and storage of materials. Candidates should have SPM qualification and preferably 2-3 years experience in a warehouse setting. The ideal applicant is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires compliance with health and safety regulations and may involve shift work.
Qualifications
- Minimum academic qualification of SPM.
- Preferred 2-3 years of working experience in Warehouse.
- Ability to read and understand basic English.
Responsibilities
- Carry out unloading and Goods receiving activities.
- Inspect and verify the incoming materials against Purchase Orders.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security in the Warehouse.

- Carry out unloading and Goods receiving activities.
- Inspect and verify the incoming materials against the Purchase Order and Delivery Notes.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of goods.
- Arrange and store materials in designated locations systematically for easy retrieval and safety compliance.
- Material picking accurately from storage locations based on requisition/demand while updating the counting records promptly and correctly.
- Support and assist in the day-to-day operations in the Warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and security especially within the Warehouse.
- Report discrepancies, damages or shortages to the Operation lead promptly.
- Follow health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement safe lifting, storage and handling practices.
- Minimum academic qualification of SPM.
- Preferred 2-3 years of working experience in Warehouse.
- Ability to read and understand basic English.
- Forklift or material handling equipment knowledge/certification is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Able to use Microsoft Office or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Responsible, reliable, honest and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, or weekends when/if required.
