Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical packaging company in Shah Alam is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage unloading, inspection, and storage of materials. Candidates should have SPM qualification and preferably 2-3 years experience in a warehouse setting. The ideal applicant is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires compliance with health and safety regulations and may involve shift work.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification of SPM.
• Preferred 2-3 years of working experience in Warehouse.
• Ability to read and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out unloading and Goods receiving activities.
• Inspect and verify the incoming materials against Purchase Orders.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security in the Warehouse.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out unloading and Goods receiving activities.
• Inspect and verify the incoming materials against the Purchase Order and Delivery Notes.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of goods.
• Arrange and store materials in designated locations systematically for easy retrieval and safety compliance.
• Material picking accurately from storage locations based on requisition/demand while updating the counting records promptly and correctly.
• Support and assist in the day-to-day operations in the Warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and security especially within the Warehouse.
• Report discrepancies, damages or shortages to the Operation lead promptly.
• Follow health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement safe lifting, storage and handling practices.

Your profile

• Minimum academic qualification of SPM.
• Preferred 2-3 years of working experience in Warehouse.
• Ability to read and understand basic English.
• Forklift or material handling equipment knowledge/certification is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Able to use Microsoft Office or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks.
• Responsible, reliable, honest and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, or weekends when/if required.
