Retail Sales Associate
Job summary
A leading consumer electronics retailer in Penang is seeking a Retail Associate to assist customers in finding the best products and provide excellent service. Candidates should have at least 1 year of retail experience and strong communication skills in English, Chinese, and Malay. The role includes setting up product displays, providing demonstrations, and engaging positively with customers. Benefits include annual outpatient benefits, birthday leave, and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding the best product.
- Expand product knowledge and deliver it engagingly.
- Follow up with customers regarding product selection.
- Set up product displays and promotional booths.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations.
- Engage with customers to develop positive relationships.
- Provide feedback for retail improvement.
- Meet daily targets and submit reports accurately.
Skills
- Listen to what customers want and assist them in finding the best product for their requirements.
- Constantly expand product knowledge and deliver it in engaging ways to customers.
- Follow up with customers and provide guidance on product selection.
- Set up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
- Provide product demonstration, presentation to customers and other stakeholders.
- Engage in meaningful interactions and develop positive customer relationships.
- Provide feedback for improvement to the retail and management team.
- Meet daily targets and submit sales reports and EOD reports accurately.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
- Comfortable working 6 days a week.
- Passionate about engaging customers and providing excellent service.
- Willingness to learn and understand the technical specifications of consumer electronics.
- Strong Communication skills (English/Chinese/Malay), with excellent interpersonal abilities.
