- Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure the efficient management of stock to prevent shortages or excesses. Implement inventory control procedures and optimize stock turnover.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the procurement team. Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Document Preparation and Review: Prepare and review all business documents related to procurement and supply chain activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure all documents comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all procurement and supply chain transactions.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
