Tooling Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on molds and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and mold performance to minimize production downtime.

Molding & Medical Plastics Expertise

• Utilize your knowledge of molding processes to support the maintenance and improvement of tooling used in the production of medical-grade plastic products.
• Ensure that all tooling meets the stringent requirements for medical plastics, including dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Tooling Setup & Optimization

• Assist in the setup and installation of molds and tooling for new production runs.
• Work with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling performance, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect molds and tooling to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications before and after maintenance.
• Collaborate with the quality team to address any issues related to tooling that may affect product quality.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including tooling modifications and improvements.
• Prepare reports on tooling performance, highlighting any issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing tooling performance, extending tool life, and improving product quality.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in tooling technology and best practices in the industry.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure that all tooling maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to medical plastics manufacturing.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Tooling, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tooling Technician, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in the use of tooling maintenance equipment and tools.
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
