Overview
The hotel, with six branches in Johor, is a growing establishment committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the entire hotel property
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks and work orders
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, identifying and prioritizing repair and maintenance needs
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment inventory
- Manage and control the maintenance department budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to maintain hotel standards
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee external maintenance contractors
- Conduct staff training on maintenance procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in hotel or facilities maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and inventory tracking systems
- Excellent paperwork, documentation,problem-solvingand communication skills
- Valid driver\'s license
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management technologies
