Technician Preventive Maintenance
Job summary
A leading semiconductor company in Malaysia is looking for a dedicated maintenance technician. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, support daily operation breakdowns, and assist with root cause investigations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering, knowledge in testing maintenance processes, and the ability to work effectively in a team. This role operates Monday-Friday during office hours.
Qualifications
- Must have passed Mathematics & English subjects at SPM level.
- Able to work under limited supervision.
- Office hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5.15pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct repairs on load board and instrument board.
- Support daily line equipment breakdown.
- Investigate root causes of electrical over-rejection.
- Assist in equipment setup and relocation.
Skills
Education
In your new role you will:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to achieve 100% operational reliability and fulfilment.
- Perform repair activities for load board and instrument board including component level troubleshooting.
- Provide support for daily line equipment breakdown, addressing issues related to tester and load board efficiently.
- Assist in investigating root causes of electrical over‑rejection, gathering relevant data and implementing corrective measures to drive continuous improvement.
- Support equipment setup, relocation and reinstallation of new or existing equipment.
- Diploma in Mechatronic, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Must passed Mathematics & English subjects at SPM level.
- Knowledge in Testing maintenance process from semiconductor manufacturing company.
- Able to work in team and under limited supervision.
- Able to work Office Hour (Monday-Friday 8am-5.15pm).
