As CelcomDigi evolves into a tech‑telco, the Privacy Specialist ensures robust, agile, future‑ready data privacy practices, drives compliance, and enables privacy‑by‑design across digital products.
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate privacy‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and effective resource management.
Privacy Expertise & Advisory
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data privacy and personal data protection across business units.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance on privacy risks in emerging technologies.
Governance & Framework Implementation
- Implement, monitor, enhance and report on the company‑wide Data Privacy Control Framework.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and update policies and procedures.
Regulatory Intelligence & Research
- Monitor and analyze developments in global and local data protection laws.
- Translate regulatory changes into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Training & Awareness
- Design and deliver targeted privacy training programs in collaboration with HR Learning.
- Support embedding privacy‑by‑design principles into product development.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Legal, Cybersecurity, IT, Customer Experience to meet privacy requirements.
- Maintain relationships with external regulators, industry bodies, and partners.
Operational Support & Incident Response
- Support privacy impact assessments, breach investigations, and remediation efforts.
- Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement.
Education & Certification
- Degree in Law, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience & Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in data privacy, preferably in Tech, Telco or regulated industries.
- Proven experience in privacy compliance, policy development, strategic planning, and project execution.
- Strong understanding of global and local data protection laws.
Digital & Analytical Competence
- Assess privacy risks in digital products, platforms, and services.
- Analytical mindset to simplify complex privacy issues.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
