Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Training Manager to develop and administer training programs for the Claims Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical claims processing and Claims Quality Assurance. You will work collaboratively, manage the offshore team, and ensure adherence to client guidelines. Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in medical claims processing (inpatient and outpatient).
  • Experience in Claims Quality Assurance preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description
Summary of the Role

To develop, plan and administer a wide range of training programs (including technical, soft skills and induction) to Claims Team or where training is required to support claims processing services.

To conduct monthly Quality Assurance checking to measure the effectiveness of the training provided; to identify gaps in processes and claim practices; role of the ambassador to drive the team to develop skills and knowledge to ensure a sustainable and robust team. To design new training materials for new programmes and products to support business growth.

List of Duties
  • Manage the offshore team to ensure operational efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Provide ongoing training to Offshore Claims Team and ensure that claim guidelines (as set by client) are followed and executed efficiently
  • Conduct ongoing review of offshore team's quality assurance checking to ensure that claim guidelines and practices provided by client are delivered effectively and upgrading the service quality of the offshore Claims Team (including technical knowledge and servicing skills)
  • Working collaboratively with Claims Excellence team to ensure that KPI on TAT and error rates are within the benchmark as set by client and report any breaches immediately to Claim Excellence team for handling
  • Organizing various kinds of core training events and team / culture building activities
Desired Professional Experience
  • With 3-6 years of experience in medical claims processing (both inpatient and outpatient)
  • Experience in Claims Quality Assurance is preferred
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player, willing to learn, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Self-motivated, analytical and detailed minded in problem solving
  • Strong sense of responsibility with high level of integrity and trust
  • Proficient in Cantonese Speaking, Mandarin and English (Read and write and speak)
