The Senior Procurement Executive plays a key role in managing the end-to-end procurement process for construction materials, subcontractor services, and equipment to support timely and cost-effective project execution. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.

Job Specification:

1. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project and company requirements.
2. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best value in terms of price, quality, and delivery timelines.
3. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely procurement of materials and services.
4. Ensure on-time delivery of goods and services by coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
5. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability; maintain and update the approved vendor list.
6. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors to understand procurement needs aligned with project timelines.
7. Track market trends and conduct price benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate price volatility.
8. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and relevant statutory requirements.
9. Track, analyse, and report procurement KPIs and metrics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues, delays, or disputes to avoid project disruptions.
11. Support tendering processes, including vendor sourcing, technical and commercial evaluations, and contract administration.
12. Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and tracking purposes.
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration and reliable supply partnerships.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or property development industry.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
4. Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is an advantage.
5. Familiarity with local regulations, tender processes, and construction material specifications.
6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
