The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.

Job Overview

To monitor the progress of construction, quality control of workmanship and supervise implementation of construction works adherence to the project requirements

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in monitoring the progress of construction daily, quality control of workmanship, and compliance of safety, health and environmental issues at sites

To liaise and work closely with contractors on day-to-day site management to ensure good coordination and implementation in accordance to the specification and schedule

To liaise with project consultants on project drawings and related issues

To lead/ manage team members in all aspects of construction; drawing control, quality control from materials delivery to post construction

To lead in handling over process and defects rectification process

To troubleshoot and problem-solving to ensure smooth operation and delivery project

Requirements

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Building Technology, Construction Management or a related field

A minimum of 5 years of working experience in property development industry especially in general project

Well versed in understanding Structural and Architectural drawings. Knowledge of M&E works will be an advantage
