The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of its newly established Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design and implementation of financial strategies, capital structuring, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role is pivotal in the company's transformative journey, requiring the establishment of a robust finance function from the ground up.
The CFO will work closely with the CEO and Board, influencing both immediate outcomes and long-term growth trajectories. Responsibilities include building and leading a high-performing finance team, driving the end-to-end process of REIT setup, sourcing investment assets, and managing financial reporting and investor relations. The ideal CFO for the REIT will have extensive senior finance leadership experience within the real estate or property development sector, with a proven track record in REIT formation or management.
They must be adept at leading complex financial transactions, possess a deep understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks, and have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A builder's mindset, characterized by adaptability and a commitment to transparent reporting practices, is essential. The role demands a candidate who can balance strategic vision with hands‑on execution, and who is dedicated to fostering an inclusive team culture.
While a CMSRL (REITs) qualification is advantageous, equivalent practical experience is also valued.
