A leading hospitality group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development Manager to proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the corporate and leisure sectors. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business development or sales and a strong network within the travel industry. This role offers a chance to drive sales initiatives and leverage a prime location for business advantage.
Proactively identify, solicit, and secure new business across key segments: corporate accounts, commercial clients, and leisure groups from travel agents and tour operators, while nurturing existing relationships to ensure repeat business.
Build a network of partners and clients, leveraging our unbeatable Bukit Bintang location as a key selling point.
Conceptualize and execute integrated sales & marketing campaigns—from strategic partnerships to digital promotions that drive direct business, create new revenue streams, and capture market share.
Represent ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur at sales trips, tradeshows, industry events.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing / Business Studies/ Management or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in in business development or sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
A proactive, go-getter attitude. A strong existing network of contacts in the corporate or travel sectors is a significant advantage.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
You're mature, results-oriented, and possess your own transport for client meetings.
Ability to start on short notice is an added advantage.
