A leading retail company in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Marketing Executive to drive in-store marketing initiatives across its nationwide outlets. The ideal candidate will develop and execute campaigns that enhance brand visibility and traffic while collaborating with teams on activations, promotions, and supplier partnerships. Candidates should possess a degree in Marketing or related fields, with 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of retail dynamics. We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Retail Marketing Executive to lead / support the execution of retail-focused marketing initiatives that drive in-store traffic, brand visibility, and campaign engagement across MOG’s nationwide outlet network. You will act as a bridge between marketing strategy and retail execution, ensuring that every campaign or activation is optimized for results at the store level. You will also play a secondary role in category management, thus working closely with brand principals and the merchandising team to uplift product performance and deliver compelling in-store experiences.
Develop and execute retail-focused marketing campaigns to drive store traffic and meet brand objectives.
Create engaging promotional mechanics, thematic campaigns, and festive activations to increase walk-ins and conversion.
Plan and coordinate in-store activations, roadshows, pop-ups, trunk shows, and store launch events.
Work with events, creative, and operations teams to ensure smooth and impactful executions.
Align with Digital Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to maximise campaign visibility across online and offline channels.
Partner with Merchandising to plan monthly/quarterly promotions based on stock performance and new launches.
Support the growth of assigned product categories across the retail network.
Collaborate with suppliers and brand principals on launches, promotions, in-store visibility, and staff training materials.
Monitor campaign and store performance, including traffic, sales uplift, and product take-up.
Prepare post-campaign reports with ROI analysis and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, or brand activation.
Experience in eyewear, beauty, FMCG, or lifestyle/healthcare retail is an advantage.
Strong understanding of retail operations and shopper marketing.
Excellent planning and coordination skills, able to manage multiple outlets and campaigns simultaneously.
Confident in stakeholder management, both internal and external (suppliers, store team, merchandising etc).
Creative thinker with a hands‑on attitude — able to take ideas from pitch to execution.
Strong team player who can collaborate across departments and provide progress updates clearly and regularly.
Data‑literate: able to analyze performance, identify insights, and translate them into actions.
Must be willing to work in Kajang
