EXECUTIVEINFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) UNITUNIKL BIS

(Lot 4-12, Quill City Mall, 1016, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur)

KEY ROLES :

• Provide technical support to staff and students for all IT-related matters.
• Monitor and manage trouble tickets submitted through the UniKL Service Helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
• Administer user accounts for various applications and systems, including email, staff portals, the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS), PABX, door access systems, and others.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, and network support when specialised assistance is required.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records by performing asset tagging and tracking asset movements.
• Deliver continuous technical support for telephony, printers, network connectivity, computer hardware, software applications, and related peripherals.
• Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the section’s domain systems and application components.
• Perform Level 2 and Level 3 application support, including handling change requests, resolving bugs, and escalating Level 3 issues to external vendors (when necessary), ensuring all tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering / Computing / Computer Science / IT or any related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in various roles in systems and application development such as either as analyst, developer, tester, project lead / secretary or level 2/3 support.
• Experience in various information system development platforms and tools such as NET/JAVA/open-source/oracle forms & report/ERP/CRM/Web/Portals/Mobile App technologies, Database and SQL.
• Proficiency in writing and presenting technical report, project proposal and project status report in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess analytical and critical thinking skill.
• Self-learner with good knowledge acquisition skills and good troubleshooting skills.
