A new manufacturing facility is being established in Senai Ipark, Johor Bahru, specializing in medical devices, injection molding, and precision engineering. Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues, particularly those related to molding machines and ancillary equipment.

Molding & Medical Plastics Expertise:

• Apply your expertise in molding to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for the production of high-quality plastic products, including medical-grade plastics.
• Support the setup and maintenance of equipment specifically used in the manufacturing of medical products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical machinery and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and parts replacements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and improving production efficiency.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements related to equipment performance.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to the maintenance of equipment used in medical plastics manufacturing.

Spare Parts Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for maintenance activities, ensuring timely procurement and availability.
• Work with suppliers to source high-quality spare parts and components as needed.

Training & Support:

• Provide training and guidance to production operators on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, particularly molding machines and related equipment.
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
