Job summary

A leading airport management company in Sibu is seeking a Senior Executive - Engineering. This role involves planning, managing, and supervising maintenance works, ensuring systems are operationally efficient and reliable. Candidates should have an engineering degree with a minimum 3.0 CGPA and relevant experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise the maintenance works to ensure serviceability and reliability
• Develop, review and enforce operation and maintenance procedures
• Prepare timely and accurate reporting for assigned airport systems
• Plan and implement the yearly budget
• Develop staff competency for effective operation and maintenance
• Keep abreast of new technology for system enhancements
• Coordinate effectively during any system crisis
• Implement project and contract management
• Analyze technical and financial data for continuous improvement
• Maintain aerodrome compliance and safety assurance

Skills

Knowledgeable in facilities management of mechanical and electrical system and building services

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Plan; manage and supervise the maintenance works are accordance to the specified maintenance standards; best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Develop; review and enforce the operation and maintenance to ensure highest level of system availability and reliability.
• Adhere with Company’s policies; procedures; guidelines; local/international regulations and legislations; quality management system; EMS; OHSAS; Green Globe 21 and any other certifications.
• Prepare timely and accurate reporting for the assigned airport systems and facilities.
• Plan; prepare and implement the yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Develop staff competency and skill in order to improve the effectiveness of operation and maintenance activities.
• Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilities.
• Assist on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.
• Coordinate effectively and timely during any system crisis and emergency situation.
• Implement the project and contract management.
• Analyze technical and financial data and recommends for continuous improvement
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining aerodrome compliance and SMS, as well as safety assurance and improvements.

Energy Manager Scope at airports (where applicable):

• To audit and analyze the total electrical energy consumption or generation at airports
• To advise in developing and implementing measures to ensure efficient management of electrical energy at the installation
• To monitor effective implementation of the measures
• To supervise the keeping of records on efficient management of electrical energy at the installation and verify its accuracy; and
• To ensure the timely submission of information and reports under the regulations.
• To carry out system reliability analysis due to lack of data.
• High dependency on IT system performance.
• Lack of management skill at airports; people competency and people development
• Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries

Skills
