Head Steward: Operations & Banquet Support
Job summary
A reputable hospitality company is seeking a Chief Steward based in Sungai Long, Kajang. The role includes executing stewarding tasks, supervising teams, and maintaining equipment and hygiene standards. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in hospitality, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently. This position requires commitment to excellence in service and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality experience especially in front office roles.
- Ability to work independently with less supervision.
- Able to work 6 working days rotational / 8 hours minimum per day.
Responsibilities
- Execute all tasks of each stewarding position in the department.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards.
- Maintain and identify areas of accountability for the stewarding team.
