Job summary
A reputable financial firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Account & Finance Executive. You will oversee financial management including payroll and vendor payments, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and produce monthly financial reports. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience in finance and proficiency in Mandarin. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English.

- Track all payments and expenditures including payroll.
- Verify entries and compare system reports to balances.

Job description
Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintaining historical records.
- Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks.
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
- Maintaining the billing system.
- Generating invoices and account statements.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
- Producing monthly financial and management reports.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): MS Office.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English. Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with clients.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Full-Time position available for Senior Account & Finance Executive.
