About the role

OWH CONSULTING SDN BHD is seeking a talented Civil & Structure Engineer to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis and development of civil and structural engineering projects for our diverse clientele.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting feasibility studies, site inspections and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and execution.
• Preparing and designing detailed engineering drawings, calculations and specifications for civil and structural components of projects.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure design compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinating with local authorities for submission stage until CCC stage.
• Overseeing the construction process and monitoring the quality of work to ensure it meets required standards.
• Identifying potential problems and recommending solutions to optimise project outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM); Graduate Engineer status is compulsory.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in a local consultancy firm.
• Familiarity with BS8110, BS5950, UBBL and other relevant codes.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as PROTA, STAADPRO and other structural software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality results.
