About the role

As a Construction Manager at MCC20 DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD, you will play a vital role in overseeing construction projects in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor particularly Johor Ulu Tiram. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects from start to finish. This full‑time position requires strong leadership, technical expertise and a keen eye for detail.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement construction plans and strategies to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage the work of contractors, subcontractors and other trade professionals.
• Monitor construction progress and quality, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the design team to resolve technical challenges and optimise construction processes.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
• Mentor and develop the construction team to enhance their skills and productivity.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, from planning to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders.
• Certification in project management or construction management is an advantage.
• Mandarin speaker to deal with China clients.
