About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the finance team at A&W (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as a Senior Finance Executive. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial records and reporting. As a full‑time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will be responsible for a range of key financial duties to support the overall business objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Accounts Receivable, E‑Invoicing Submission, Monthly Account Closing, Bank Reconciliation.
- Check and review day‑to‑day operation sales data from POS to ensure true and accurate data.
- Ensure collection and settlements of sales daily from various payment methods: Credit Card, E‑Wallet, Online, Food Aggregators platform.
- Manage and reconcile Account Receivables Ledgers.
- Check and review petty cash usage by outlets and assist for petty cash reimbursement to outlet.
- Generate and issue invoices for Large Orders and A&W Voucher purchases by customers.
- Assist in e‑invoicing submissions.
- Processing refund requests by customers through outlet complaints and bank dispute.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Assist in month‑end closing process.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
