Overview

The Front-End Developer will support the Application Manager in implementing digital solutions that align with the IT division's strategy. The role focuses on designing and developing user interfaces that integrate with backend systems, ensuring flexibility, modularity, and performance. The developer will also provide technical recommendations to meet user requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performance-optimized solutions based on business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into system solutions and lead small to medium IT projects.
• Develop front-end code following best practices and perform unit and system integration testing.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve related issues.
• Provide second-level production and incident support.
• Implement application strategies aligned with business goals and IT direction.
• Ensure risk assessments, change management, and system health monitoring are in place.
• Deliver projects within defined scope, time, and budget.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT application development, with 3–5 years in a developer role.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including JCR, Sling, OSGi, DAM, and workflows.
• Proficiency in Mandarin language to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Analytics, Target, and Campaign.
• Experience with backend integration using servlets, OSGi services, and Sling.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle) and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Unix, and WebSphere.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Domain knowledge in insurance and distribution channels is a plus.

Contract and Location

This is a 12-month contract role with a possible extension.

The work location is either in Jalan Ampang OR Bukit Bintang, Jalan Sultan Ismail.
