• Capacity Modelling: Develop, maintain and refine capacity models to project equipment needs.
• Equipment purchasing: Work with procurement teams to identify, evaluate and purchase necessary equipment that will support capacity ramps requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Data analysis: Utilize data-driven methodologies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas of improvement within the assembly and test processes.
• Network optimization: Analyse and optimize capacity across all global Micron assembly and test sites, ensuring the most efficient and effective utilization of resources with lowest cost through methodology like asset transfer management.
• Collaboration: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, procurement and engineering teams to align on capacity goals, equipment needs and budgetary constraints to reduce cost.
• Continuous improvement: Implement and promote lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
• Forecasting: Collaborate with business and operation teams to understand demand forecasts and translate them into capacity needs.
• Reporting: Regularly report on capacity status, equipment needs and project progress to senior management and escalte help needed.

• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial engineering or related field from a reputed institution (Engineering, Data science, Computing are welcome to apply).
• Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns and make data-driven decisions.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with capacity planning tools, simulation software and statistical analysis.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings.
• Problem-solving: Proactive approach in identifying problem and creating effective solutions.
• Team player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and drive collaborative efforts to achieve goals.
• Detail and Aptitude: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, agile to respond to dynamic environment.
