The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the field. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for producing detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and designs to support the delivery of engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings and designs using CAD software
- Collaborate with project engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards and specifications
- Provide technical support and clarification to project teams as needed
- Assist in the coordination and management of external suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and project records
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an M&E Drafter in the engineering industry
- Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or Revit
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and documents
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
