Job summary
A global technology company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified individual to provide technical training to local staff and customers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in telecommunications, a relevant Bachelor's Degree, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include developing training programs, managing training databases, and ensuring training quality. Extensive global travel may be required, making flexibility essential. Strong knowledge of Huawei products and telecommunication standards is highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of working experience in the Telecommunication field.
- Multi-vendor product networking experience with certification is an advantage.
- Good command of English and the local language.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical training to Huawei staff and customers.
- Manage and maintain training equipment.
- Ensure quality of onsite/online training and trainee satisfaction.
Skills
Education
- Responsible for providing technical training to Huawei local staff, cooperators and customers. This includes planning, conducting courses and testing of the trainees.
- Directly responsible for training effect (training plan, teaching implementation).
- Set up regional training database (including training material, training slides, test questions and other related material) to meet the training needs of the local staff, cooperators and customers (training database construction).
- Training of part-time trainers (trainer resources construction).
- Maintain training equipment to ensure normal operation of the training equipment (training property management).
- Participate in customer onsite/online training by local engineers to ensure onsite training’s quality and trainee satisfaction (onsite/online training).
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Multi‑vendor product networking experience with HCNA/HCNP/HCIE or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- More than 5 years of working experience in the Telecommunication field and with technical training experience (Datacom).
- Understand responsibilities and assessment standards of a technical trainer.
- Familiar with customer, cooperator and staff training, learning service and talent management processes.
- Good knowledge of current telecommunication network, Huawei products and telecommunication international standards.
- Good command in English and the local language.
- Extensive global travel required (subject to global pandemic situation).
- Remote online training delivery according to customers’ time zones and working days.
