Job summary

A leading agriculture company in Selangor is seeking a candidate to prepare quotations, drawings, and sales contracts while collaborating closely with sales and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with the ability to travel within the Asia region as needed. This role involves maintaining CRM records and providing technical insights for customer requests.

Job description

Prepare quotations, drawings, farm layouts and sales contracts for sales/agents/customers and follow-up accordingly.

Quote product prices, delivery conditions and payment terms and offering substitute products where appropriate (supported by Sales and Engineering).

Generate CAD drawings to support quotations.

Work closely with sales, agent and Engineering teams in catering customer requests and inquiries by:

Providing technical and commercial insights related to system or equipment specifications and other products.

Make judgement and discretionary decisions to determine suitable product specifications, applications, pricing and system or solution recommendations for specific projects.

Collecting and providing information related to product availability, manufacturing lead times, pricing and other relevant details.

Ensure all necessary documents and information are transferred to Business Support – Order Management when converting a quotation into an order.

Facilitate technical order confirmations when required.

Maintain and update CRM records regularly, ensuring quotation statuses and customer profiles are accurate.

Participate actively in development and commercial meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Engineering field.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.

Proficient in AutoCAD or other similar software, Microsoft Excel, and other basic document applications.

Proactive, quick learner, and able to multitask effectively.

Able to travel within the Asia region when needed.
