We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee the full supply chain operations, including Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing efficient supply chain strategies, optimizing processes, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy — all while driving cost savings and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain operations: Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services at the best value.
- Oversee production and material planning to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels.
- Ensure effective warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage optimization, and stock accuracy.
- Manage logistics operations, ensuring on-time deliveries and cost-efficient transportation solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the supply chain.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, HSE, and Customer Service teams.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and corporate policies.
Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management with a strong understanding of Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics.
- Technical certification preferred.
- Leadership training.
- 7-10 years of lean leadership experience preferred.
Additional Information Regarding Position:
- Must be willing to work at Kulim, Kedah.
- Well versed in Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics.
- Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) knowledge will be a plus.
